Highly rated Barcelona youngster Denis Suarez is set to be available for loan next season, FootballDirectNews.com understands.
The 20-year-old midfielder, formerly of Manchester City, could be set to make a return to the Premier League, with the likes of Liverpool and Everton keen to snap him up if the opportunity arises.
Suarez only just joined Barcelona this summer, and has impressed for their B team in the Spanish Segunda Division, though he looks ready to be playing regularly at a more competitive level. A number of La Liga clubs are also understood to be interested, but Merseyside rivals Liverpool and Everton could represent the major contenders from England to battle it out for his signature, a European football insider has confirmed. Everton currently have another Barcelona youngster, Gerard Deulofeu, on loan at Goodison Park for the season, and their manager Roberto Martinez could look to use his good relationship with the Catalan giants again to bring in Suarez. Liverpool could also be a good move for the young Spaniard, with Brendan Rodgers’ side playing an attacking and technical style of football that would give the player good preparation for a career at the Nou Camp.
