The door has been opened for Remy Cabella to make a summer move to either Manchester United or Liverpool.
The exciting French midfielder has been heavily linked with both of the Premier League rivals as well Juventus and clubs in France.
The president of Cabella’s club, Montpellier, has opened the door for a move away in the summer by revealing in a radio interview that if an ambitious club makes an approach for the 24-year-old then he would allow him to leave. President Louis Nicollin told Radio France Bleu: “He was promised that if there was an ambitious club, we let him go. And unless it is a catastrophic last ten games, I think that there are clubs who are going to ask [after him]. ”Premier League United face competition from the likes of Olympique Lyon and Olympique de Marseille for 24-year-old Cabella, as well as Liverpool. Brendan Rogers is known to be a big admirer of Cabella, who has scored 10 goals and assisted five this season. He will not have the same level of funds as United rival David Moyes, but is likely to be able to offer the player Champions League football, something Moyes is almost certainly unable to do. Cabella would cost in the region of 25 million to separate him from Montpellier.
