West Ham United could be ready to offer Ashley Young an escape route from Manchester United this summer, FootballDirectNews.com understands.
The former Aston Villa winger has not reached his best form in a United shirt since joining the club in 2011, and looks likely to make way this summer as David Moyes looks to improve his struggling squad.
Young’s disciplinary problems have also come under some scrutiny from the Red Devils boss this season, with Moyes admitting he did not like to see his players diving in an attempt to mislead match officials.
The 28-year-old may himself welcome a change of scene, as he has seemingly been unable to cope with the demands of playing for a big club like United, having initially impressed during his time at Villa Park.
