Tottenham: Summer signing set for quick exit
8th December 2013 8:57pm GMT
A number of clubs in Spain are looking to sign unsettled Tottenham Hotspur striker Roberto Soldado, it has been suggested.
The 28-year-old has not managed to settle in in England since hsi £26million move to Tottenham from Valencia in the summer, scoring just one goal from open play in 13 Premier League appearances.
The Spaniard has now found himself out of the starting lineup for Spurs' last two matches, and SportsDirect News understands teams in La Liga are monitoring his situation as they look to bring him back to his home country just half a season after he left.
Soldado has previously looked like a prolific goal-scorer during his time with former clubs Valencia and Getafe, and the latter may be one of several teams to show an interest in him when January comes.
Sevilla are also believed to be interested, as they look to bring in a striker having sold Alvaro Negredo to Manchester City in the summer.
