Arsenal transfer news: Wenger plots Griezmann bid

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is ready to launch a bid for Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann.
The youngster scored a sensational bicycle kick as Sociedad beat French side Lyon 2-0 in the first leg of a Champions league playoff on Tuesday night.
Griezmann, 22, was born in France but moved to Sociedad as a teenager and in recent years has emerged as one of the brightest prospects in the European game.
Partnered in attack by former Gunner Carlos Vela, Griezmann will know all about life at Arsenal.
With the north London side currenlty on the look-out for a boost to their front line and having recenly suffered an injury blow with the news Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will be ruled out until November, Wenger could be set to launch a bid for a player believed to be on his radar.
As Sociedad are on the verge of securing Champions League qualification for the first time in their history however, any bid for Griezmann may have to be delayed until the Spanish side have safely negotiated their second leg with Lyon on 28 August.
Still uncapped by the France national team, Griezmann is nonetheless still likely to be valued in the region of £15 million.
