Arsenal transfer news: Gervinho on his way
2nd July 2013 10:29am BST
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is ready to cut his losses on striker Gervinho who is almost certailn to be on his way from the club this summer.
Turkish giants Fenerbache and Galatasaray are both interested in the front man and with a top bracket of 50% t tax in the country, that option interests the Ivorian.
With Gonzalo Higuain on his way to the Emirates and the club keen on Manchester United's Wayne Rooney, the 26-year-old will be allowed to leave for around £8 million - a £3 million loss on what the Gunners paid for him.
The Londoners are particularly strong in the striker department also boasting Oliver Giroud, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski available.
A source said: "Gervinho would be very unlikely to make the club's 25-strong squad and it now appears the manager is ready to let him go."
