Tottenham: Spurs to revive Hernandez interest
2nd December 2013 8:00pm GMT
Tottenham Hotspur could be set to revive their interest in Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez, SportsDirect News understands.
Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas is eyeing up several options upfront ahead of the January transfer window, with backup striker Jermain Defoe looking like heading out of the club.
Emmanuel Adebayor could also be set to be sold by the north Londoners, while summer signing Roberto Soldado has failed to impress as well since joining from Valencia in the close-season.
Hernandez has not been a regular for United in recent times, and was first linked with Tottenham over the summer, though the Red Devils have been understandably keen not to sell the Mexican front-man to a Premier League rival.
Atletico Madrid and Valencia have also shown an interest in signing Hernandez, but with Spurs struggling for goals this season, Villas-Boas could now prioritise the striker in this winter's transfer market.
